Individual Therapy: Integration & Growth
Offered both in person and virtually, most sessions are intended to be experiential, making change and progress more sustainable. We move beyond "talking" to access your internal state, gently connecting with the parts of you that are difficult to reach so they can be seen, heard, and acknowledged within a safe therapeutic space, allowing the system to soften and naturally release what it has been holding.
Hong's approach is somatic, relational, and experiential. She integrates traditional talk therapy with a focus on working together to understand how your body, inner parts, and nervous system store your life's experiences. This body-centered dimension draws on principles shared with somatic therapy and EMDR trauma reprocessing.
Trauma Recovery: Reclaim Your Wholeness
Dedicated support for processing traumatic memories and restoring a sense of safety in your body. Using EMDR therapy and EMDR 2.0, along with somatic insights, we work gently to release what your nervous system has been holding — whether from a single event or complex childhood trauma — so you can finally feel at home in your own skin again. EMDR therapy works very effectively in a virtual setting. For clients who have reached a plateau with traditional approaches, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy may offer a powerful complement to this work.
A Therapeutic Relationship Grounded in Presence
Hong works well with people who have engaged in therapy and gained a great deal of insight and understanding, yet continue to feel stuck, anxious, depressed, lonely, or overwhelmed. These challenges may surface in relationships, self-perception, or as the persistent effects of past experiences, including PTSD and longstanding emotional or behavioral patterns.
With 25 years of clinical experience, Hong is certified in EMDR therapy (trained in EMDR 2.0), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and Transforming Touch® (TT). Her integrative approach is grounded in our philosophy of whole-person healing.
